Our office is located in Las Colinas, Texas. This position will have the following consideration:

Hybrid (preferred): Works regularly both onsite (currently 3+ days per week) and remote, resides within the headquarters office locality

Remote (will consider): Works primarily offsite, resides outside of the headquarters office locality within in the continental US


Job Description:

The VP, Chief of Staff (CoS) works with the President & CEO to assist in driving strategic initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the successful execution of key priorities. Serving as an advisor, the CoS plays an important role in supporting the company's growth and operational excellence. This role requires a highly organized and proactive leader with a deep understanding of the asset management business, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manages strategic projects and initiatives for the President & CEO
  • Supports the President & CEO in framing out strategic presentations, which includes research, gathering appropriate data/facts/charts/graphs/etc.
  • Assists the President & CEO in support of the firm's Board of Directors
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key business partners including sales, marketing, operations, legal & compliance, finance and technology staff to effectively support and promote firmwide initiatives
  • Provides input for all strategic planning process improvements and operational efficiencies in conjunction with President & CEO and staff
  • Partners with the Heads of Sales and Marketing to determine optimal sales strategy and efforts
  • Provides a minimum of one piece of valuable feedback in Threads every two weeks for a team member

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional experience overall, with a minimum of three years in a senior leadership role
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence and partnering with the President &CEO and board of directors
  • Integrity and drive for excellence in work effectiveness and programmatic impact
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, presentation, and oral and written communication skills
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of the asset management business and investment products
  • Comfortable working in a continuous learning environment
  • Solid educational background including an undergraduate degree required; advanced degree or other professional achievements preferred
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving strategic initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools, power user of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel a must
  • Flexibility to manage extensive business travel
